From beaches to mountains, sunshine and warmth, the Pyrenees-Orientales (PO) is a stunning region, bordering Spain

My  sole aim is to help you have a great experience where you can meet like-minded people and enjoy the beauty that the PO has to offer. Eating great food, relaxing in the sun with a glass of wine and taking part in mindful sessions of group meditation and mindfulness activities, learning from one another and growing together.

I'm here to personally help you every step of the way, from helping you to arrange flights, picking you up and dropping you off at the airport in France or Spain and being there to support you throughout your stay. Your stay will be planned for you to take the stress away and allow you to fully relax and emerge yourself in your new sunny paradise. You are of course, free to participate in whatever you choose and will not be pressured or judged if you choose to take some time for yourself, this is an experience aimed at helping you and you can take what you want from it.

Example Itinerary:

Day 1

Arrive at airport of your choice, you will be greeted at the gate and you will have my mobile phone number prior to your departure if you need to get hold of me.

Once back at the villa, you'll have a chance to read, relax, explore the area before we meet for an evening meal that will be cooked for you by myself. This will be tapas and a mix of French and Spanish (Spain is about 30 minutes drive away) cuisine and will allow a selection of different options for different preferences. Drinks will also be provided but your welcome to purchase your own.

During the evening meal, as we are getting to know each other, we will each set an intention for what we would like to achieve in our time together, an example could be 'to relax and unwind', or 'to learn a new way of self-care'.

Day 2

Continental breakfast will be provided to you, whenever you choose to awaken (there are no strict times as the purpose of this retreat is relaxation!). If you choose, we will then take some time briefly discussing the benefits of meditation and mindfulness, before having the opportunity to spend some time as a group meditating.

After we've had lunch, you'll then have the opportunity to come along for an afternoon relaxing and unwinding on the beach.

In the evening, we will spend time as a group cooking an evening meal that we have all agreed on and enjoy the fruits of our labour together as one. Expressing gratitude for our experiences of the day and what we enjoyed/learnt

Day 3

Continental breakfast will be provided, followed by a morning meditation (if you wish). You will then have the chance to do some simple crafts as a group. For example, crafting a beautiful letter that you can write to yourself to read when you get home.

After lunch, we will head to Collioure, a stunning little town set on the beach with amazing views and the most beautiful narrow streets with a multitude of boutique shops that you can explore at your leisure.

In the evening, we will make a communal meal as agreed together and eat together expressing our gratitude and sharing experiences of the day

Day 4

Continental breakfast will be provided, followed by a morning meditation (if you choose).

This will be a free day for you to do anything you wish, I will be there to give you and suggestions and to drop/pick you up from your destination of choice. You can either choose to go on a solo mission or with other group members.

This could be a back day, another day in Collioure, a day exploring Perpignan (the local city), or you may want to go on a train to somewhere further afield. The world is your oyster! (and don't worry, I'll be there to help).

In the evening of this last night you'll have the choice to either help with cooking or I can make your meal for you while you relax (I am more than happy with whichever you choose). We will then spend our final evening together as a group and talk about our experience and what we've gained.

Day 5

Departure day

Have one final continental breakfast, expressing our gratitude for the experience that we've shared together. Following breakfast, you will be dropped of at your airport and head for home, feeling revived, restored and rejuvenated.

Accommodation

You will have your own bedroom with either a single or double bed within a villa (this will be allocated to you before you arrive). As I am a small business the villa will be hired for each trip so may be different each retreat. I will however ensure that it is 5* and try where possible to provide rooms with double beds and either a swimming pool or jacuzzi. (for specific dates please contact me before and I can send you pictures of actual accommodation and further details of the precise area before you make a decision)

I will arrive to the villa the day before the start of the retreat to prepare everything and deliver the food so that it is 100% prepared for your arrival and require zero effort on your part. Bedding and towels will be provided and your bed made for arrival. All essentials such as tea and coffee and snacks will be waiting for you when you get there. All you need to bring are clothes and yourself!

What to pack

The region is renowned for its beautiful hot sunshine. from February to April you can expect sunshine and temperatures between 12 and 25 degrees, it will be cooler in the evenings so be sure to pack a cardigan! From April to September it is significantly hotter and temperatures can reach in excess of 35 degrees so pack your shorts!

Don't forget to bring your swimming gear and you may wish to bring an umbrella in case of any rain (although it rarely rains).

You will need to bring toiletries (or if you prefer, contact me before and I can get you some from France).

Unique experience

This is designed to be a unique retreat with small numbers so that it can be tailored to the group and not put any pressure or expectation on anyone. Although there will be a plan to provide you with some structure and valuable experience throughout your stay, there is no obligation on your part to have to complete everything, you choose what you want to make of it and you will not be judged whatever your choice is. All I ask is that you enjoy your time and make the best out of it for your own self.

If you have more questions, check out the frequently asked questions page or just send me an email and I'll answer you directly. You can contact me at robyn@rdcoaching.org.

I hope to see you soon!
